About The Food Bank

The Believer’s Chapel Food Bank is used for those in need in the community who are without food.

We feed between 3,600-4000 people per month with food. We are feeding over 3,00 people each month in 2016 and have to feed more people than we can count. We give out food on Thursdays from 11:30 AM to 3 PM.

If you were to buy a box of cereal from one of the local stores, you would pay anywhere from $3-5 dollars for it. If we bought cereal down at the Second Harvest Food Bank in Riverside, we could get it for under 20 cents a box. We typically bring up a little over 2,000 pounds of food every week.

No, we don’t get it the food for free, but we do get it at 18 cents a pound. Other than the cost of gas, all donations of money go to buy food. Everyone donates their time and energy to be a blessing to people in need.We are not government funded, and therefore are dependent upon charitable organizations, churches, restaurants, and people who donate cash or food.
